The Skate-Tec 527 blade offers two tube thickness options: 0.7 mm and 0.8 mm.
Each thickness caters to different skating styles and preferences:

• 0.7 mm Tube: This thinner tube option provides greater flexibility, making it ideal for lighter skaters and those who prefer a more responsive blade. The increased flex allows for better maneuverability and adaptability, making it a great choice for all-round skaters who participate in various speed skating events.
• 0.8 mm Tube: The slightly thicker 0.8 mm tube offers more rigidity, providing enhanced stability and control. This option is suitable for skaters who prefer a firmer blade, allowing for more powerful strokes and better performance in specific racing conditions.

Our 527 blades have been on the market now for some time and have achieved success in both World Cup and Marathon events. Because of its more flexible characteristics it is generally suited to lighter skaters or skating applications where peak forces are less. The 527 will give you confidence in your skating strokes by gently steering into the push for you, allowing a slightly more passive type of technique. The steering and control gains of this blade are accompanied by a spritely and light feel on the feet.

The newest addition to our blade line-up is the M-style, created by merging the best of the past with modern ideas and developments. This blade will accomomdate heavier and more powerful skaters, with outstanding stability and pressure needed to reach higher speeds with confidence. The M-style has the unique ability to be able to steer mid-push, allowing the skater to be more responsible in challenging conditions. Our blades feature oversized bridges that add an impressive centimeter to the length of the bridge, significantly increasing the flex. This additional flex enhances both steering and stability compared to the standard edition, subtly transforming the character of your blades. The oversized bridges provide greater maneuverability and control, allowing skaters to navigate the ice with increased confidence and precision.
