The Differentiator 2.0
If the Ci1 is the differentiator, the Ci1 iD is the Differentiator 2.0 with a capital “D”. This skate boot combines all the game-changing features of the standard Ci1… and more!
Cádomotus infused all its years of experience and knowledge, both technical and practical, into the development of a new innovative footbed, which provides optimal power transfer from the boot through the frame to the wheels and track. In other words, this boot transfers every ounce of effort you pour into it and makes sure that none of your energy is wasted! With its flatter footbed, that will boost your double push like no shoe you have ever skated with before, it is the ultimate inline racing boot: a hard, reactive and supportive shoe specifically designed for top-level track racing, offering perfect control and response, both at full speed and in the corners.
Every detail of the boot is designed to maximize the expression of your potential. This is what we call “intelligent design”.
Combined with the easy-to-reach dial-in lace closure system with free lock technology, this micro adjusted boot hugs your foot at anatomically thought-out key points to hold it in place in such a natural way that you will soon forget where your foot finishes and where your boot starts: this boot becomes an extension of your body. With its custom-like snug fit, its new heel pocket, low cuff, heat-moldable options, and exposed mount blocks (which ensure perfect alignment), the boot provides unparalleled edge precision, range of motion, stability and control, as well as optimal pressure distribution throughout your whole foot.
What makes the Ci1 iD an even more advanced speed boot than the standard Ci1?
“How can it get better than that?,” you must be wondering. Well, it can and the Ci1 iD is! This speed boot managed the amazing feat of surpassing its standard version, in its materials, its production and its looks! Let’s have a closer look at its key upgraded features.
Carbon Fibers for the Shell: The shell sole of the Cádomotus Ci1 iD is made with carbon fibers from Toray Advanced Composites. At the forefront of innovation in advanced composites, this Japanese manufacturer produces carbon composite materials for high-performance products (in aerospace or Formula One amongst other fields), which makes it the ideal partner for top-level sport equipment.
Each part of the boot having a specific carbon layering, each of them becomes an optimal whole, the stiffness, strength or deformability of which (depending on the parts) is perfectly tuned in to its function. To name but a couple: some key parts of the sole are undeformable, meaning that they receive and pass on to the skate every muscle contraction in your foot, which as a result gives you unprecedented control; Also, the heel counter is manufactured in such a way that it locks your foot into the shoe, offering you optimal stability.
Microfibers for the Lining: The materials of the structure of the boot are just as carefully selected too. The lining is made of synthetic microfiber leather, which is more durable than natural leather. Being more resistant to friction and more stretchable, it is less likely to tear and allows for a smoother finish inside the boot. Not only microfibers are lighter than natural leather (only 1 gram per 9000 m), but they also breathe better, and are stronger and more flexible. Fabrics are thus thinner (therefore even lighter!) and hug better the inside of the shoe, which prevents folds from forming inside it. Microfibers also age and wear out slower, meaning they will extend the longevity of your boot!
A Monocoque Boot: The Ci1 iD may be a stock boot, but it is carefully and cleverly manufactured by hand just like a custom boot! This monocoque shoe is made in one piece – meaning its boot liner, carbon shell base and leather are fully integrated. With our unique skills, precision and craftsmanship, we position and put all the parts of the boot together to create an indivisible whole. The result is a lightweight, strong, and comfortable shoe – without any sharp edges, stitches or hard spots inside, since all transitions from one part to another are perfectly smooth. The Ci1 iD speed boot not only is extremely durable but also offers greater performance while using less material and fabric.
A Wide Color Range: The Ci1 iD can boast of having another custom-like feature that will make you stand out in a pack. You can now personalize your dream skate, because this boot is available in 16 outstanding colours! Make your choice amongst these high-quality microfiber-leather colorways, which are divided into four collections: Steel Body, Tough by Nature, Evolution and Bright in Style. From classic to subtle to bright, from matte to metallic to textured… There’s something for everyone! Which one are you?

Heat mold instructions
Heat mold instructions for all Cádomotus ice and inline skating boots can be found here. A special notice for molding Ci1iD boots: After the boots are heatened in the oven and put on your feet, do not tighten them using the dial closure! Use only the laces (optional in combination with a vacuum pump/bag). When the disc closure is heatened you may damage the system trying to pull the steel wire laces.

Longtrack ice skating with your inline skate- or short track boots? This blade always fits
A long track blade that can also be used with boots for inline skating or short track, it sounds logical and it actually is. But until recently it was almost impossible. With the Allmount Ice Blades, you can now start long track skating with your inline boots or your short track boots. And it’s not just handy, it also saves you money.
It’s probably familiar: the whole summer you’re skating on an inline boot that fit like a glove and you would love to also use them on ice in the winter. Or as a short-track skater, you would like to do some long tracking every now and then on your short track boots, but not on those high short track blades.
The problem of using ice blades on inline boots
It’s nearly impossible to match your ice blade, because the mounts of the boots differ too much. For inline boots, it has to do with the position of the wheels, in short track the distance might match those of long track skates, but most often it doesn’t. The mount is always 195mm when it comes to inline boots, 165mm when it comes to short track boots and the mount of long track boots varies between 150mm and 195mm, depending on the size of the boot.
Adjusting the ice blade to mount of the inline boot
With the Allmount Ice Blades, this problem disappears. The two attachment points can be adjusted according to what you want, so the blades will always fit your boot. This way, the blade can be used for any shoe size between 32 and 47. Do you have an inline boot with a 195mm mount? Then adjust the attachment points as far away from each other as possible, attach the blade and skate away without any problem. The attachment points can be placed on various points on the blade ánd can be adjusted with 5mm steps, so you can skate on ice with any mount between 150mm and 195mm. You can not only just set up your blades lengthwise, it’s also possible to adjust them sideways, so your blade can always be optimally positioned.
The Allmount Ice Blades are perfect for recreational long track skaters, tour skaters and marathon skaters who like to make very long tours, but also for kids who do short track skating, and like to try long track every now and then. In short, it’s a simple solution that helps you go on the ice with any boot you like. It’s multifunctional, it can save you the money of buying yet another pair of boots and helps you enjoy the same boot summer ánd winter.
